Provided by YP.comI hired the services of Spartan Moving System after searching online and reading some reviews. We called the customer service and asked for a quote given the specifics of the house size, number of boxes and furniture. We settled to a very affordable price and scheduled the move. The moving team was very courteous and polite and removed their shoes in both properties to protect the floor when requested. Everything was accounted for and it was delivered in perfect condition. I would certainly use their services again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Provided by YP.comThe relocation process causes a lot of stress and I needed a responsible moving company. I hired Spartan Moving System for the move and I had made the right choice. The customer service personnel was fantastic. When the truck was actually at my house, I was so impressed with the level of care and professionalism they handled my belongings; almost as though the things belonged to them. Absolutely nothing was damaged and they arrived exactly when they said they would. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Provided by YP.comThe sales associates lie to get the sale and the customer service is extremely unresponsive. My sales associate, Kristina Parris, outright lied to me about the estimate when I informed her that her estimated volume is much higher than other quotes I've received - she said the quote she provided was a MAXIMUM quote and that they make sure to over estimate so that I won't be surprised by additional charges later on. She seemed like she really took my needs into account and was looking out for me, when in fact she LIED just to get my sale because as I was informed later by the movers, the quote was a MINIMUM amount that I would be charged. I was unable to dispute the charge prior to the movers picking up my items because it was a weekend and no one in customer service works over the weekend. When I called back on Monday, I was informed they would look into the situation and call me back. Two days later, I still did not receive a call and had to follow up several times because the delivery driver was scheduled to arrive. The customer service was so unresponsive that the delivery driver had to call dispatch in order to get someone to look at the situation and waited an hour while they sorted things out on their end. I was then CHARGED WAITING TIME for the duration that their internal department was trying to decide to not fix anything. They ended up overcharging me by about 25% compared with the actual volume and weight that my items contained - confirmed by the delivery driver. Worst of all, several of my glass items were shattered in the move.
Their customer service actually informed me that the only way I would get a refund for the overcharge is if I use all social media means possible to get the owner's attention - apparently the only one who can authorize a refund.
In conclusion - do NOT use this company and do NOT trust the sales reps. They will lie to you to take your money, carelessly throw your items around, and ignore any complaints!

Provided by YPmobileIf I could give this company negative stars I would. I'm writing this review for my sister who used Spartan Moving System for her recent move, and is still so traumatized that she couldn't even write this review. To say that using this company was a nightmare to work would be giving them a compliment. In short, everything that could have went wrong DID.
I'm going to try to make this short as possible, but I feel as though all these positive ratings are not only misleading, they are totally fabricated. First the moving company didn't come on time or have the proper list of goods my sister told them, and therefore throwing off her estimate. If we didn't call and check, they wouldn't have come. The moving experience was in itself the best part of working with Spartan. They efficiently packed all of my sister's belongings and left our house promising to have all her items delivered one week later. My mother even booked a flight to be with my sister when the items would be delivered..Well, one week later....NOTHING SHOWED UP. My entire family called incessantly to find out what had happened, seeing as though my sister had been getting emails all week telling of the different stages which her belongings were in. Well finally we were able to get in touch with someone, would you believe that they said her items were still in the same state they picked them up? They hadn't even thought about moving her stuff!! Of course it was a Friday and they were quick to say that they would call us back on Monday. They also said that they didn't know where her furniture was...well that's just great. Her items weren't delivered AND they didn't know where her things were? VERYYYYYY professional, let me tell you. All they could tell us was that they were "working" on it. Bull crap, tell us where her belongings are! We spoke to whom we believe is second in command behind the owners of the company, who wouldn't know customer service if slapped her in the face and went down her throat. She stated that "per the contract that they have up to 30 days to deliver her belongings and she couldn't tell us which day to expect anything..Again, bull crap. She also said that if we tried to challenge them in court that "we wouldn't have a leg to stand on." REALLY?
They also said that they would require that the move be paid in full BEFORE her furniture arrived, that they didn't know where her furniture was AND they didn't know when it would be delivered...does that sound like a scam or what? Of course we said that we wouldn't pay anything until we knew where her stuff was. After a series of threats from us, finally they "found out" that her items were STILL in the state in which they had been picked up in a warehouse. They told us that if we wanted to get our furniture out that we would need to pay in full then pick it up. EXCUSE ME? You want us to pay you so that we can pick up our own furniture? Needless to say we weren't going for that either. If we are paying you to move her things then that's whats going to happen.
After a series of more bull crap, tension, threats (on our end), and frustration the furniture arrived on the following Saturday....in a HUGE RIG. Now we told them that she lived in an apartment with a loading dock...not a loading dock at Publix Supermarket. Why in the heck would they send an oil rig to drop off her furniture? The truck DIDN'T FIT. The very unkind driver stated that for another 300$ that he would move her things from the truck to her apartment. After already paying nearly 1400$ for this ridiculous service. So he proceeded to take all of her furniture off the truck and DUMP it on the side of the road. Did I mention that it was about 37 degrees outside? So the driver left her furniture outside to be damaged, stolen, and worse, moved by one young woman.
Luckily three young men that live in her same apartment complex helped her move her items into her apartment.

Provided by YP.comCOMPLETE SCAM!!! All of the positive reviews are fake. My furniture was dumped on the side of the road and delivered two weeks late. The driver was heartless and let a female carry her own furniture to her apartment when he was paid to do so. If you want to use a professional company go elsewhere. You will be chasing down your furniture for weeks if you deal with these scammers.

Provided by YP.comIf possible, I would give Spartan Moving System of Miami, FL a NEGATIVE 5 star review. They only conceivable way they could possibly have 25 - Five Star reviews is if they wrote them using fake names! These people are liars and thrives - unless you are fine with living for 30 business days without your possession, I suggest you CHOOSE ANY MOVER EXCEPT SPARTAN.
