I purchased a custom trailer from Joe on 6/23/2015. I live out of state, so I was unable to meet Joe or see his location. I would never recommend purchasing anything from Joe at Trailer Depot of Miami. The following was and is my very unpleasant dealings with Joe.
Prior to the order Joe promised to measure the vessel and verify bunk location/placement. Joe quoted and confirmed 2-3 week lead time for trailer delivery. Joe didn’t measure the vessel, nor did he respond to several emails and phone calls about the overall progress and timeline of the trailer delivery. In order to get a response from Joe, I issued a stop payment on a check for a progress payment. This was after the trailer slipped the promised delivery of 7/15/2015. The trailer was then delivered on 7/30/2015. Joe said he was too busy on 7/30/2015 to bring the trailer to Hi-Lift for loading. By this time I was in contact with the actual trailer manufacturer and they were able to send one of their trucks and technicians for vessel loading and bunk adjustment. In this scenario Joe was a trailer reseller, he didn’t bring any other value and was removed from the resolution at this point.
We spent about 3 hours at Hi-Lift trying to place the vessel onto the trailer, unsuccessfully I might add. None of the bunks were even remotely close to the required placement for this vessel. I spoke to the owner of the trailer manufacturing company, we decided to hire a transport company and ship the vessel on a transport trailer to the manufacturing plant to be rebuilt. I received the corrected rebuilt trailer on 8/8/2015. The trailer is paid for in full. I have been trying to get the trailer title from Joe since 8/20/2015. Today is 9/26/2015. I still don’t have the title to the trailer. Joe is refusing to issue the title. He told me he is waiting a couple more days for the final check to clear. Joe cashed the check and funds cleared my account on 8/20/2015.

I just got a new Continental trailer for my 17' foot Boston Whaler and could not be happier with the trailer and the outstanding level of service I received from Joe and his team at Trailer Depot!
