491 Units Investments, LLC aka Crystal Lakes Apartments has the same reputation take it from a renter who has been living here since 2001-now. Where do I begin: well since the property was in foreclosure they had investers purchase the property as-is for 15 million dollars so they began to renovate the units by first kicking out squatters, then doing some much needed improvements to the building such as painting, landscaping, fixing the roof, etc. In addition to that they hired an entire new office staff that are completely glueless and also an entire crew of uncertified maintenance men to ineffectively come to your unit when they feel like it and make the problem bigger than before (they are also sloppy workers), the guys in suits driving their fancy cars are my favorite you can tell they are just there to collect rent. If you like dealing with complete idiots, maintenance men & owners who don't speak English (Spanish) in a prodiminantly African-American apartment complex, if you like not having an emergency after-hours number to call when there is a maintenance issue, and Security patrol not doing anything Crystal Lakes is the place to be. Just because you change the name of the company and put a fresh coat of paint on the building it's the same old Crystal Lakes worthless reputation "DON'T MOVE HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR INTEGRITY AND SANITY" I WOULD ADVISE TO GO PASS CRYSTAL LAKES TO THE OTHER APARTMENT COMPLEXES DOWN 207th Street CEDAR GROVE AND EMERALD DUNES MUCH BETTER QUALITY. THIS WILL DEFINITELY BE MY LAST YEAR HERE, THIS IS THE WORST IT'S EVER BEEN. TAKE MY ADVICE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
