I went to this hole in the wall for lunch the other day. This place is small with about 4 tables and a lunch counter. There were 3 ladies working behind the counter and I stood in front of the register for about 15 minutes. Despite making eye contact with each of these employees I was not greeted or even acknowledged. Nobody offered to take my order and I am a member of the military and was wearing my uniform at the time. I might understand the lack of attention if they were crowded but there were only 4 other customers in the cafe. A lady came in after I had been waiting and took a seat at the counter where her order was taken by the older of the 3 female employees who seemed very unhappy and had a BRF that created a very unfriendly atmosphere. I coughed loudly hoping this woman would get the message and finally take my order but all I got was a dirty look which prompted me to walk out. I can honestly say that I have never been treated like this by a business while in uniform. This is definitely a good ole boys place where new customers are not welcome. Save yourself the indignity and inconvenience and go half a mile down the road to Baker's Tavern Pit Beef stand where you will get great food and great service.
