I live in a co op as do many people in queens. I called them on a recommendation of someone who had used then several years back and it was a positive experience. I have been reading and do believe they’ve changed management or are contracting out the work. I phoned the company early in the day to ask that they email a copy of their insurance and license to the coops management co. They couldn’t find my name on the schedule for that day.
That should’ve been my first clue. The job-reconnecting a socket that had not worked in several years took no time at all. All good, charged for the piece and the labor AND 1/2 hour of labor to send the email. E claimed it was his time and it came to about $70 for them to send the email. Furious but they were already here and the email issue didn’t come up until the end. The job cost $250...it would’ve been under $200 without the “cost” of sending the email. DONT use this company
