Welbourne is a bed-and-breakfast near Middleburg, Virginia, about an hour west of Washington, D.C. Dating from 1775, our eighth-generation family home is a unique venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail and dinner parties. Couples can book the entire house and grounds for a day or a weekend. Welbourne has five main guest rooms with wood-burning fireplaces and private baths. An additional five smaller attached rooms have shared baths. The house has been inhabited by the Dulany family since 1833. It is our home, not a museum, although it is full of family heirlooms and antiques. It has been described as "a step back in time" and as having an air of "faded elegance."
