Clearly the best Chinese food offerings in the Madison metro area and prices are very good, with generous servings. We don't go anywhere else for Chinese. Every dish is mouth watering - delicious. We recommend ordering off the menu, despite the buffet. They are re-opening soon a block down the road on University Ave.

Sadly, this business is now closed and according to the sign posted on the door, it will be replaced with an Indian buffet.

Thee food at China Wok is generally pretty good, although I thought their lo mein had a strange off-taste a few times. The problem I have is the way I last got treated at the checkout. The fellow at the register picks up my container, looks inside, puts it down, picks it up again, gives it a longer look, grimaces, gives a disapproving sigh, puts it down, and with not a word charges me a dollar more. Excuse me, but I consider that rather rude. The lunch buffet has a set price, and if I took too much, they should have weighed it, or told me why they charged more. I also don't like being given a painful expression and disapproving sigh when I patronized their business.
