Redding Middle School, located in Middletown, Del., has been operational for more than 50 years. It provides academic education to students in grades six through eight and enrolls more than 750 students. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, language arts, foreign languages, science and social studies. It also offers after school and health and wellness programs. The school has a library that offers a large collection of curriculum books, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers and access to the Internet. The middle school also offers a music room, science lab, gymnasium, cafeteria and an auditorium. Additionally, it provides early childhood education, and health and physical education. Redding Middle School organizes various extracurricular activities, such as dance, jazz band, chorus, musical concerts, and education fairs and science Olympiads. It offers Junior National Honor Society program and sports activities. The school is a part of the Appoquinimink School District and offers academic counseling services.
