Provided by YP.comTimes Herald is horrible when it comes to informing carriers about any changes to routes, customer requests, etc. They are also quick to blame the distribution company and carriers for late delivery when 9.5 times out of 10, they print/drop the papers late. Carriers are then charged for all complaints (except for missing section which is not always chosen by the customer calling). The onus is on them but the carriers, the least able to afford it, pay for it. The condition of the papers is embarrassing: missing sections, torn pages, munched edges--there is no time within the delivery deadline to be quality control, especially when one is not reimbursed for it. Further, they promise almost all customers door delivery (something that is supposed to be for elderly and/or disabled)--this also creates a delivery time problem. The distribution company is given a certain amount of bundles to then distribute to carriers--Times Herald regularly shorts the bundles so carriers scramble to get papers (sometimes from other zones so they end up with different ad inserts) in order to complete their counts. Times Herald costs contracting carriers time, money, and reputation.

Provided by YPmobileFudge these people. I have a paid subscription courtesy of them till December 17th because of how bad there delivery service is. Ever Sunday my paper is on the ground. I even moved my paper box closer and lower to the road to accommodate the delivery persons vehicle, and yet it's still in the middle if my dam lawn. After December I will not be continuing service with this company. No matter how many times I call and complain not this done. It's a very simple request, put the dam paper in the dam box that YOU supplied me. Can't even do that and yet they still complain there not being bad a fare wage.
