Carpenter Street School is one of the oldest operating elementary schools in the Midland Public School district. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school employs a nurse, special education coordinator, speech therapist, guidance counselor and psychologist. The elementary school s staff also includes several social workers. The school has a parent-teacher organization that works to enhance library resources, improve the building and grounds and provides materials and tuition for academic programs.
