Jefferson Middle School, founded in 1963, has an enrollment of more than 800 students. The school employs more than 80 staff members. It is a part of Midland Public Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Midland Public Schools also provides postsecondary education for students with special needs. Its academic curriculum includes English, social studies, science, mathematics, language arts and health education.
