Mexco Energy acquires, explores and develops oil and gas properties located in the United States. The group owns interests in and operates nearly 20 producing wells and two shut-in wells. It also owns partial interests in an additional 1,900-plus producing wells located in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Wyoming, Kansas, Colorado, Alabama, Montana and North Dakota. The majority of the operations are carried out in Permian Basin of west Texas. Mexco also acquires interests in producing and nonproducing oil and gas leases from landholders and leaseholders in areas considered favorable for oil and gas exploration, development and extraction. Mexco Energy is headquartered in Midland, Texas.
