I had a 3-root canal procedure performed in October, 2017, and by February, 2018, scheduled a followup with Dr. Gardiner Packer, as I was having difficulty with bite and pain with pressure. He acted as if I really hadn't needed to come in, and said that the soft tissue was still healing. By May, 2018, I developed a palatal cyst next to the tooth and my regular dentist placed me on antibiotics. The cyst lessened but was still present, so two days after I completed the antibiotic, I opted to see my oral surgeon to have his opinion of the matter. He felt that one of the 3 roots had, perhaps, not been properly sealed at the end of the root since there was no pocketing around the tooth to suggest a crack in the root. I made an appointment to return to see Dr. Packer, and he was willing to re-do the root canal for an additional $811, after previously charging $1500 in October. Will not see this dentist again, and will certainly let friends who need endodontics work to look elsewhere for service.

I had root canal done with Dr. Palmieri. Prior to visit I called the office several times and spoke to Maja to verify the price and asked if there are any additional charges may occur to make sure what to expect and I was assured that this is the total price for treatment. After checking reviews online where I saw concerns about unexpected extra charges being billed I called back the office and expressed my concern and verified the total amount that will be billed to my insurance company. And here we go, about 6 weeks later I received the bill that was not informed about and higher amount that was discussed upfront.Everybody I spoke with were reluctant to listen and stated upfront that it is standard fees what I understand as long as it is communicated upfront and people know what to expect. Horrible customer service! Would not recommend to go over there.
