I went to this store with my 17 year old daughter who has learning disabilities to purchase restaurant attire (black pants, white blouse and slip resistant shoes). She is participating in a program with her school that gives vocational training on working in restaurants at The positive vibe café. I had my daughter try on a few pairs of shoes to see which ones were comfortable. She had worn gym attire into the store as we were planning to go to the gym afterwards. She had on new Nike sneakers that were purchased for back to school from a different store. After paying for our merchandise a store supervisor detained us and called the police saying there was a discrepancy. She refused to provide any more information to me the parent. I could hear her talking to her employees outside of the room she asked me to sit in. They were accusing my daughter of stealing the sneakers from the store because they look new. After talking to the place we were allowed to leave and the officers apologized for the misunderstanding. The store supervisor was nowhere in sight. I really believe she should have apologized to us for the wrongful accusation. Had she taken a moment to do that and explain herself I may not be writing this review.
