James River High School, located in Midlothian, Va., offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,900 students and is affiliated with the Chesterfield County Public Schools. It offers a wide range of courses, including English, world languages, English as a second language, mathematics, business management, science, social studies, accounting, electronic communications, computer application, fine and practical arts, people business marketing, personal development and health and physical education classes. The school also has a parent-teacher student association that support the students and the faculty through various programs and projects. James River High School has a variety of sports and athletics activities that include baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, softball, field hockey and wrestling.
