Provided by YP.comBack in the early 70's When Father Levy was our priest and my parents were very active with St.Vivians I truelly enjoyed going to church. I have many fond memories of those days. My dad and brother built the lava rock type nicho that sits in front of the church. I remember my dad Juan E. Chavez used to read the scriptures, And mom Agnes M. Chavez would keep the church and linens tidy. They were both very active in the bingo nights(dad was the bingo caller, and mom sold cards & took care of the concession stand. We used to go visit father Levy and he never had sugar for coffee. Often father would come over to our home and have dinner. Those were great days. Unfortunately I Have not visited since 1974, but i'm sure it's still a beautiful church.
