I recently brought my wife's car in for repair at this business. I explained that the driver's side front wheel was vibrating harshly during right turns and an occasional "clack" sound could be heard when letting your foot off the accelerator. I asked them to diagnose the problem and repair it as needed. I also explained that a mechanic friend of mine also thought that the inner tie rod end needed replacing. He doesn't have an alignment machine so I thought it best to have it repaired at a shop that did. Chris Barber (owner) called and told me that my transmission mounts were shot and that the tie rod end was fine, as was the hub assembly and cv shaft. He charged me $253 for this service. (charging me $68 for each mount that could be acquired anywhere for $27) I picked up the car on completion and after driving it, found it did the exact same thing it did when I dropped if off. I told Mr. Barber that the wheel was hopping and the "clack" sound was unchanged. He said I never told him that the wheel was hopping/vibrating and just stared at me. The slightest bit of diagnostic work would have made his inability to remember a conversation irrelevant. Using this business left me $253 lighter without fixing the problem. I will never do business here again.
