For Starters, we had the Tuna Tacos and an order of Mussels. Both were incredible. The Tuna Tacos were really something special. We were greeted at our Table in the most upscale manner considering that we were not eating at a some Super trendy New Haven Fad restaurant. Esther was very knowledgable of the menu and was able to describe the specials to us as if we were looking at them and could smell them. I however went with the meatloaf that night and it was the best meatloaf I have ever had. I was really blown away. Esther continued to provide great service even though the restaurant was fully seated. Everyone there seemed to help each other out with tables as they passed one. Appeared to have a great team enviroment which was really great to see as a former restaurant owner. I dont know why they dont advertise more or maybe they just dont need to. Kudos to the Bridge House

The outside of the restaurant doesn't do this place justice. It is a wonderful and quaint place to get a great meal. I went there for the first time with a friend and the service was top notch. Then came the amazing food. I am not even a big steak person really enjoyed their filet. They used Chipotle peppers and it was delicious. It was the best I have had in years. I would recomend everything my friend said. I plan on working my way through the menu each time I visit.
