Provided by YP.comI had some landscaping and stonework done by this company and was left with a mess. After meeting with the business owner (Dean), he seemed like a nice enough guy, and we discussed the job that needed to be done. The cost for the job was very high, but he assured me that everything we discussed would be taken care of in the most professional way possible.
I should have known that something wasn't right when Dean quoted me a price off the cuff without even giving me a written estimate (only a contract after the price was already quoted verbally) Dean said that the project would be started nearly 4 weeks before it actually started, and something that should have taken roughly a week to complete took nearly two months. This was mostly due to Dean being over-committed to bigger jobs instead of following through on mine. At every turn, there was an excuse to leave the job unfinished. With every concern that I had, Dean made an excuse as to why something wasn't done correctly or on time and did so in a very rude and condescending manner. When they were finally done, the job was left a mess. The driveway was filthy with concrete powder actually adhering to the surface of the asphalt, shoe imprints on the walkway, a slice of my asphalt missing from a stone cut that was made, an entire bag of concrete left in my yard, mud splattered all over my porch, poly sand on my porch floor, uneven spaces in the grout on my sidewalk, not enough gravel in the planter bed (which weeds are growing out of) and a stone missing from the rowlock in my plant bed until the very last minute of the job was finished. Everything was an excuse for Dean not to complete the job as promised, and in the end, I had to complete the work that he didn't finish. It finally looks like it should have, but at the expense of my own time and additional money. I would absolutely not hire them again and would recommend that you look elsewhere.
