My son was struggling in first grade. Teachers told me to talk to a specialist. My child's principal recommended Dr. Prevelige. She was so warm and understanding with so much knowledge. She helped us navigate through a full neuropsychological evaluations which led to a diagnosis of autism for my son. Although the acceptance of this label was hard, now a year later I am so thankful for Dr. Prevelige's honesty and accurate evaluation. My son is making gains, he is appropriately placed in a classroom with teachers that understand him and can help his strengths shine through. I would highly recommend Dr. Prevelige to any parent with questions about their child's learning style.
