The Kerite Company, located in Seymour, Conn., is a manufacturer of power cable. The company produces EPR insulated cable ranging from 600V to 138kV for the utility distribution and industrial markets. Kerite s products are based on a set of proprietary compounds that are produced in-house. Founded in 1854, the company operates a 400,000-square-foot facility and employs nearly 200 people. Kerite is part of The Marmon group, and its product line complements that of other Marmon wire and cable companies. The Marmon Group is an international association of more than 100 autonomous manufacturing and service companies with collective sales in excess of $6 billion.
