Medlyn Motors is a "throw-back" experience in personal service. They know your name, treat you like a friend, and oh by the way, know their stuff! Their prices are much fairer than larger, dealer-type environments, and they can accommodate your schedule. Excellent work, excellent prices, first-class customer service, highly recommended, especially for Jeep work.

I have been going there for inspection sticker for the past 2 years for wife’s new car and mine too. With exception of enormously overpriced labor quote my experience with Medlyn Motors in Milford NH is being neutral. Neither had they blown me off with exceptional customer service (as their web site claims), neither the opposite. I was getting what I was there for until this April, when my 20 years old Toyota was due for inspection.

The guy named Steve was mean and obviously looking for a reason to fail me. Called me (with a finger) in the service area to let me know that the reverse lights are not working (after I told him there is switch beneath the dash clearly labeled reverse lights) and the high beams are dead.

Instead of at least offering to fix the issue Steve was telling me that the car is being oiled underneath and it is in OK for its year condition (like I would not have known. I have been wrenching this vehicle exclusively).

I told him I don’t like to be called in the shop (and especially with a finger) and if he has anything to say to me he could come to the waiting area. Instead of at least offering to fix the issue (he said it is too complicated) , Steve was telling me that the car is being oiled underneath and it is in OK for its year condition (like I would have not know without him. Left without sticker, got back home and fixed the high beams which was simple bulb replacement.

Next morning went back and met the service owner Ed. He was cocky and way off pleasant manners.

I’ve got the sticker at the end, but would not go back to do business with these guys again . They may be good for relatives and buddies, but not for regular customers.

Ed and Dave run a good shop. I've never had a problem and I've been going there for 7 years. Excellent mechanics, with no turnover. That tells me a lot.

They're very fair. They won't replace what can be repaired and their prices are more reasonable than many places. We think they're great!
