The story of Schumacher & Co. is the story of an American dream. In 1927, Carl Schumacher, who came to the United States from Germany, started our business from his home in Bellevue, Kentucky. His son, Ken graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in building construction technology, and Schumacher & Co became a father and son venture. Ken took over the business in 1976, enhancing Schumacher & Co.’s craftsmanship, technology and professionalism making us one of the most sought after wood flooring experts in the Midwest. Today, Schumacher & Co. is part of the KW Flooring Family of Companies and is located in a state of the art showroom in the historic area of Milford.
