Our landlord has contracted this company to maintain the landscaping on the property. Last week they parked their truck and trailer in the middle of the driveway, blocking access to our unit, and ignored requests to move it. My fiancé, not as politely as possible, resolved the issue and probably offended the workers. This week, funnily enough, the same worker purposefully parked their truck directly behind our cars and we were told that if we needed to leave, we should come find them and then they would move it.

Both last week and this week they were using gas powered leaf blowers. We requested that they instead use a rake and bag them, so that they not disturb us (I work overnights and they tend to come in the morning) and so that they do not need to return multiple times to blow around the same leaves. Clearly, this company prioritizes efficiency over client preference or the environment.

In short, because we do not directly pay them, they were not willing to listen to us. The boss arrived on site and was unhelpful until he realized we were on the phone with our landlord. Also, a woman who seemed to only have arrived to be rude, was insulting, and laughed at our suggestions to resolve the issue. Eventually we came to an understanding and resolved our issue with the boss, who was in the end very nice and apologetic.

We re glad to have resolved the issues, but we just can t help but feel like this confrontation never should have happened.
