Provided by YP.comThis tailor get a 0 rating. My mother of the bride dress needed an alteration and some repair to the beading at the neckline. The rep from Elegance by Carbonneau personally met with Elizabeth and explained what needed to be done. Elizabeth agreed to have the dress ready in 2 weeks (one week before wedding ) and to call me when it was ready and to bill Elegance. The day before it was to be ready I called to make sure it was on track for pick up. She said it was done a couple days prior. No call
I picked it up and although the alteration was good the beading was worse than before. Elizabeth first stated she never touched it and that she never agreed to do it. She said it's not her thing. I told her I would bring it back to elegance and she told me I would never find a tailor to fix it, that I should be happy it fit. She said it would "take hours to fix and who is going to pay me for that?"She was rude and demeaning and while on MY cell phone told the rep from Elegance "it's perfect and beautiful. It fits so I don't know what you want."
She was told to do whatever she needed to make me happy. At that point she responded "there is no making this woman happy"
I left and returned the dress to Elegance. In 24 hours the repairs were done and I attended my daughters wedding a Happy woman!
Elizabeth lost the business from Elegance and will never get a referral from me!

Provided by YP.comGreat business from a hard working woman. We have been going there for almost a decade and have never had a problem .Routinely under-charges us when we have frequent appointments, love her!

Provided by YP.comI went to pick up a dress I had tailored for a wedding and noticed that the dress had a stain on the front. The tailor admitted that she did not see the stain when she pressed the dress, and I hadn't seen any stains when I dropped the dress off. Therefore, it must have happened at the store. She said she would "take care of the cleaning" and told me to come back at the latest possible day I could before the wedding, but that she couldn't guarantee that it would even be able to be cleaned on time. The original price of the tailoring was supposed to be $25, but when I went to pick up the dress, she charged me $40 to include the price of the cleaning even though she admitted that it had happened while in her store! So she charged me to clean a brand new dress that she had dirtied!
