WebsiteEach person seeks counseling for different reasons and each person has different strengths, skills and resiliencies. As your Counselor, my job is to define these characteristics, help you to recognize them and learn how to use them to your benefit each and every day of your life. Although I believe that your past influences your present, we won't rehash your past over and over. We will concentrate on your strengths and how you will use them to create the life you desire, right now. I won't tell you what to do; we work together to recognize your wholeness.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment in which you are comfortable in working and exploring with me your current challenges and conflicts, your past traumas and your strengths, desires, motivations and goals for change in your life. My therapeutic approach, although foundationally cognitive behavioral, is eclectic in nature, pulling from many different branches of counseling theories and psychotherapy philosophies in order to tailor our time spent together specifically to you and your needs.
Individual Clinical Supervision is offered to LPC interns in Pennsylvania. I have Medical administrative management background prior to entering the Human Services Field and BHRS TSS clinical supervision since that time.
