Lest anyone get turned off by the one star review, I'd like to put my two cents in. I too, have been a customer for years.



McDaniel Farms always has a fantastic assortment of fruits and vegetables and their prices are more than competitive.



They carry heirloom varieties of veggies (especially squash pumpkins) that I cannot even get in the markets of Detroit/SE Michigan. That is reason enough to always stop on my way to or from visiting relatives in the area.



I have found the staff here very helpful and very fair.

Our family has spent over $500.00 per year in the spring and probabley $50.00 per month in produce at Mc Daniel Farms in Millington for several years. It used to be our favorite place to go. We work in the Flint area and can get cheaper plants and produce but choose to support our local businesses. For the first time in my father's life he took back 3 plants that did not make it. He showed the clerk (we think it was the owner but can't confirm) these plants. This person told my elderly father that they did not replace plants. My father had a receipt for over $200.00 for plants he bought a week ago. This person treated him as if he was trash and wouild now replace the plants or give him a refund. My fathger is on Social Security and on a fixed income. He counts his pennys. Just a note - We will no loger support this business. We will go to Tri-Count Farms. I've never had a problem there,
