Provided by YP.comSimply THE BEST ITALIAN Food I've ever had! In fact, personally I never really liked Italian food before I tried Albivi.
I live in Jackson, NJ and have been passing by this place many times, not really knowing what it is. One day, my husband suggested our family to go try it, and I am glad he had this amazing idea. Our family doesn't go out often, but when we do, we look for a really good experience. After all, when you pay - you expect the best from Atmosphere, Service and Food!
ATMOSPHERE. The place has beautiful warm decor - you can see that whoever designed that place, they really tried to make it special. The restaurant is subdivided in few different spaces and my favorite is where it looks like you are in Italy, somewhere on a small Piazza (plaza) - with balconies surrounding it. I also enjoyed music playing on a background.
SERVICE. Service was friendly, felt like a family. Everything was timely, from bread, to appetizers to water. Since after my 1st time, I've visited Albivi 3 more times, I can confirm that service is always top notch and always with the smile.
FOOD. For starters. The best home-baked in pizza oven bread I've had. The best fried calamari. Salads - amazing. It really all starts with ingredients - because you can just see everything is top-notch quality, from lettuce leave/ tomatoes to meats. What really sets Albivi apart - most of their things are TRULY home-made, made from scratch on premises. Not when you are told that pasta is home-made (but still likely purchased from store). Some people argue about their high prices. First of all, it's BYOB. You save a lot, if you have a party and bring your wine! Second, ingredients are highest freshest quality. Third, the food is worth that price!
My favorite - "Fettuccini Alla Panna" - oh wow! Homemade pasta (you can taste it), homemade Alfredo sauce, melting jumbo shrimp, and.. wait.. mini homemade mozzarella balls, melted into pasta! YAM!
Oh, and I've never had better pizza! My son confirms!

Provided by YP.comSimply the Best! Don't listen to the jealous or the people who just don't know anything about great food. There are those who prefer to just fill their stomachs, pay cheaper prices and eat less quality tasting food but If you want greatness you have to pay for it and Albivi is not only one of the most consistent great Italian food places around, it is NOT anymore expensive than any other quality restaurant, in fact they are less. Great food always. I wish then continues success.

Provided by YP.comDON"T GO HERE. Save your money. They must be kidding. Ordered what I was told was Mediterrean Sea Bass whole fish and got a teeny freshwater fish (smallmouth bass).
Fish was served on a small portion of lettuce and nothing else. Blood vein line was left in the fish. (that's a first for me). Disgusting. Was not crispy as ordered and was not seasoned.
Cost me $30. Tooooo much to pay for this fish.
Atmosphere was nothing much
Food was mediocre and overpriced.
Definately will not go back to this place nor would I recommend to anyone.
Owner laughed at me when I mentioned it to him.
Waiter told me that I got a big fish but I think he meant that I was a big fish.
Unfortunately, there is not a lower star rating offered for this review.
With so many other restaurants around you would think they would not take advantage of people this way.
I did not mind the price but getting bad food, ripped off and disrespected bothers me.

Provided by YP.comMy family recently dined at Albivi's and had a horrible experience. The service was exceptionally slow and the waiter kept disappearing. It took 20 minutes before someone else came over to take our order. Than we had to ask the waiter 3 times for our drinks.(FYI, no free refills on soda here) It even took 15minutes just to get our check when we were done. Ended up having to go up to the register to pay for fear of waiting another 15 minutes for him to come back with our card. The Pizza was tasty but the toppings were meager for the price charged. My daughter ordered fettuccini Alfedo for $16 ( no meat just pasta) and it didn't even come with a small side salad, just a bowl of pasta.... and she ended up getting sick in the parking lot. I complained about the service on the way out and was told they just got very busy (not even a sorry just excuses) but less than 1/2 of the tables were occupied. So what is it like when they are full. So the short of it , if you like slow service for overpriced ($68.00 for a large pie, bar pie and a bowl of fettuccini alfedo )less than average food than this is the place for you. My family went because we were told is was good. We will never go back. My money will go to Bella Leahs in Hightstown for now on.
