Provided by YP.comIf I could give zero stars I would. We purchased a bed from this store in February of 2016. It is now October 2016 and we have had the worst experience with having the bed put together the right way. After having the delivery employees out six times they finally sent one of their technicians who told us the bed was put together wrong the first time (In February) because they grabbed the wrong part to the bed. Essentially it is a wooden bed and they grabbed a metal slat support that went to another bed which has caused our bed to break 5 different times. Due to this wrong part being used we have experienced our headboard splitting, the rails splitting apart and our bed being completely uneven to the point where if you sit down on one side, the other side lifts up and tilts you to the point where you feel like you are falling. I have called customer support more times than I can count and have taken off work to be home six times for them to fix it. To this day we still have a broken bed. I called the store where we purchased this bed and asked for a refund due to all the troubles and still having a broken bed and the manager said "that is not our policy." I will never go back to this store and highly recommend that people go elsewhere if you are looking for a bed that is safe. I am appalled at the customer service we have received and lack of competence this company has. Truly the worst experience ever.

Provided by YPmobilejus call 7 on ur side. im a former empoyee of this warehouse, a supervisor at dat. my salary wasnt worth the pay. the old lady there i worked for always nag and complain, brings bad vibes to work every day i worked. very bad chemistry for the warehouse. dis warehouse and company is a prime example of underpaid employees and overpaid furniture. dis warehouse is family owned. favortism plays big role in auithority w/out any experience of managing/supervising. the company will be exposed by customers who spend their hard earned money and taxes on a franchise dat doesnt take care of the heart of the company(warehouse employees)

Provided by YPmobileWow, i thought the flea market in oakland was worse. Wait till u go to Asshley furniture warehouse in Fremont. It looks so filthy. Everything looks so crammed in. The front office was no help. An hour wait with no line, as if they didn't know if my item arrived or not. The guy who put the item on my truck had no clue how to manuver the piece and didn't speak any english. And top it off, where the pick up gate it like reused furniture given to the customers. Im very unsatisfied with their business it will be the last and I recommend anyone not to purchase anything from asshley in the bay area

Provided by YP.comThis store is terrible! We were shopping for a hide-a-bed couch and we found the one that we want at the fremont store. The only problem is that it wasn't in stock. We had friends coming in from Sweden and wanted to offer them a place to sleep. The salesman promised delivery by the December 1st and said that it would not be a problem to meet this delivery schedule and that he would handle it personally. He even offered us a discount and a 5-year warrantee if we bought it that day and said that we could call him personally if there were any problems. Today is December 17th, friends from Sweden have come and gone, and we have still not seen the couch! Nobody at the store can tell us when it will arrive and they are not the least bit concerned--latest estimate was some where around December 23rd. Do not use this store if you are counting on a promised delivery!
Update: After countless calls to the store, and a sales manager that has never returned our calls, we called them and cancelled the order. The sales manager then was on the phone within 30-seconds (before he was always busy with a customer). He said that there was going to be a 30% restocking price if we cancelled the order. We informed him that the case has already been reported to the BBB and our credit card company was familiar with the problems from Ashley and would take over from here. The sad thing for Ashley regarding this incident is that we have two houses that we wanted to get new furniture for and we loved their selection. It is this kind of service that drove us elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comExtremely poor customer service. Repeated miscalculations of delivery date. I purchased furniture in NOVEMBER. It is JANUARY and my furniture has not been delivered yet after several attempts. I call customer service who keep pushing the delivery date further and further, coming up with some BS reason every time. I issue a complaint, they say to call the store. I call the store, and all they can say is they'll look into it and call me back. The worst part is the don't call back as they say they will.
Shop local, shop other national dealers but I suggest steer clear of Ashley Furniture, especially the Fremont, CA store if you must. I am highly disappointed in the experience. Support your local economy and don't let the big guy push them out of business. I've found local dealers more customer-focused, not commission-focused.

Provided by YP.comI like the furniture in this store but if you’re going to buy something here make sure you go through all the financial conditions and paperwork with a fine tooth comb. All the “no interest” advertising plastered in the store is not true.
I just bought a bedroom set in March. The sale person talked me into applying for the no interest finance deal without informing me that I have to spend the required minimum $2,000. I just got my first bill. There is definitely a “REDUCE INTEREST” which compounds DAILY. When I called the store manager, I was told that my balance was short of the $2,000 balance to get the no interest. My balance was $1,851. If the sale person has told me about the required minimum instead focusing on the “no interest”, I would have bought something else to make up the difference. But he keeps promoting the no interest for 36 months deal.
Too bad, I would have came back and bought more furniture from them. Instead, I just paid the balance, closed my account and ran. It worst than dealing with a used car salesman. I told all my friends and co-workers to stay away from this store.
BTW-If you tried to complain to corporate, there is no phone number just an e-mail address. Also, this store is independently owned so they can’t do anything to help you. All they do is forward the e-mail to the store manager.
