TL;DR: If you're picking out furniture that you plan on putting in your car and taking home that day, go for it. If you're ordering or getting furniture delivered, go elsewhere.



My boyfriend and I went to this store looking for some furniture for our new apartment. We found a few things we liked, including a couch and a kitchen table. The kitchen table we bought and brought home that day - it's decent quality and was relatively inexpensive, pretty good deal. The couch was not in stock, but they told us they would deliver it in two weeks - for a $60 delivery fee. Ouch, but the couch was a great deal too ($800 for a quality sleeper sofa with pullout queen bed). So we ordered it.



Two weeks later, we wondered where our couch was. They never called, so we called them. "Where is our couch?" my boyfriend asked. "The person that handles the warehouse orders is not here right now. I will have him call you back," said the person on the other line. They didn't call back. This repeated not once more, not twice more, but THREE more times. The fourth phone call, when the lady said, "I will call you back," we said, "No. You will NOT call me back. You will find out where my couch is right now, or I will cancel the order." Well, that got them moving. Finally, they told us that there had been an error with the order and the couch wouldn't actually be in until the end of August (another three weeks).



End of August, we again wondered where our couch was. This time, we knew that they were not going to call us, so we called them around the first of September. Of course, the response was, "We'll call you back." But we knew better, and so said, "No, listen, tell me when the person who handles the warehouse orders will be in, and we will call YOU then." They said, "Ok, call back tomorrow at 11am." We did. Guess what? "We'll call you back." Um, NO. "Tell us where our couch is, or we are cancelling our order." Once again, this magical phrase got them off their butts and we actually managed to set up a delivery date for our couch the following Saturday.



Come Saturday, we got a phone call. "We're sorry, your couch was supposed to be delivered from the Ashley warehouse earlier today but we just called them and they don't have it." Seriously?? "When will they have it?" "We will deliver it next Saturday, same time." Starting to really doubt that this is actually going to happen, but decided to give them one last chance.



Well, today is Saturday. The delivery window has come and gone, with no couch, and no phone call. I will be calling them shortly to demand my entire purchase price and delivery fee back.

This furniture store is Big, they have so many item to choice . I had a good deal on July 4.
