This is not your typical gun range. I was a little apprehensive spending $60.00 for an hour!, but I have to admit it was the best $60 I ever spend when it came to shooting.

They have over 40 guns to shoot at no extra charge, I just had to bring my own ammo. They don't sell ammo which is fine with me since Walmart is just down the road.

The range is PRIVATE! I had an entire tactical range to myself and the owner Captain Ron is by far the pistol gun instructor I have had, including through my military and leo training days. (retired cop who still needs an instructor). He's very patient and the range is air-conditioned. It was over 100degrees out the day I shot and I was in 75 degree shoot house and couldnt even tell how hot it was outside.

If you want to do more than just plink maybe even improve your shooting skills, this is the place, but if you just want to plink the FWC range on Quintette Road is $10 for the day.FWC is primitive, but gets the job done if youre on a budget. Blackwater River Tactical Range has my blessing and I will come back when my budget allows.
