Provided by YP.comI went in today after waking up with my entire face swollen and severe tooth pain. After sitting in the lobby for over two hours and then in an exam room for another 2 hours (and having to call in the nurse to remind her I exsisted) the P.A. finally came in and looked at me for a total of about 5 min. I was given meds and sent home without any labs done and a very sorry excuse for an exam. Worst experience ever.

Provided by YP.comI went to the ER with complaints of a heart attack. I was told that is was just congestion in my lungs and released. The pain got worse so I went back 3 days later same thing. Then after another 4 days my chest was really bad so I went back screaming that I must be having a heart attack. After waiting 4 hours the doctor comes in and says sir it looks like you had a heart attack about a week ago. I said really you mean the first time I came in. They wanted to admit me I left.

Provided by YPmobileBar none this is the worst, most inept and unorganized hospital I have ever stepped foot into. Came in just for labs. One of the labs ordered was a 24-hour urine. Came back the next day to just to drop off said urine. Had to register AGAIN. They tried to collect co-pay AGAIN, but I refused. I have worked in the medical field for more that 25 years and know that is a no no. In the end it took almost an hour just to drop off the specimen. An HOUR! What a joke.

Provided by YP.comI was admitted through ER with symptoms of TIA. I can honestly say I have NEVER had better care anywhere. They were very attentive and listened to my concerns. They did a very good workup to find out the cause of my TIA. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

Provided by YP.comI'd give them a 0 if I could. Making my life hell having turned me over to a debt collection agency because their billing dept. couldn't get it through their thick skull that I didn't owe them any money. Tricare ultimately resolved this for me but it took months for SRMC to finally figure it out and now I'm having to deal with getting this off my credit report. I'll never go back there.

Provided by YP.comThis should be NEGATIVE 5 STARS. The RUDEST staff I've ever spoke to on the phone, and I should know--I am a customer service rep! They sent us a bill for an overnight stay--saying we owed them 30,000 dollars! They had never even bothered to bill our insurance! Had to call them and have them fix it. Months later, we get a letter from collections saying we owe the 2,000 dollar deductible! We NEVER got a bill or a phone call from SRMC, although they rudely say we did! And how can we prove the bill didn't arrive?? We have the money to pay our bills--and we've paid one to SRMC for a different service date since--so why would we not pay this one?? If we never GET notice, how are we to know?? To top it off, we learned recently from our insurance company that they didn't even RECEIVE the bill from SRMC until AUGUST-- a whole 6 months after service!!! SRMC REFUSES to right this wrong. HORRIBLE, unorganized, careless financial service people--and slow hospital service to boot! Apparently, SRMC makes no mistakes, and patients are just low-lifes who "misunderstand" everything!!

Provided by YP.comWhen I took my three month old baby in to the ER because her two and a half yr. old brother decided he wanted to wash her off with a bottle of scented body wash. Her intire head was covered, her eyes were closed and her nose was blowing bubbles. First i ran staight to the shower, bad idea, just made it lather more. so in panic i wrapped her in a towel and jump in the car to the hospital. Meanwhile holding her and wiping her face repeatedly. Get to santa rosa they take her staight back, but only one nurse comes in and hands me a surenge with a bottle of saline. told me to keep washing her eyes out. She leaves me to do it and goes to talk to the dr. Dr never comes in room and the nurse comes back and tells me maybe i should have just given her a shower. and tells me she fine go home. I stormed out of the and new there was something wrong with my child, she was passing out having her eyes roll and couldnt keep them open. Her body was limber. So I took her to her dr. come to find out she was drunk from the alchole in the body wash. Also her eyes were burnt and need a antibiotic drops and a special cream. It took a week b4 she could open her eyes, I was so worried she might be blind. Luckly bc of her doctor her vision is fine. They need to pay more attention to what the patients concerns are and not assume we dont know what we r talking about.
