We moved to this area a few years ago and when I drove down Old Milton Highway and saw Ingle Chapel, a feeling of peace washed over me. My husband, Bruce, and I grew up in rural Mississippi and, as children, attended small country churches like Ingle Chapel.

The first time I went to Ingle Chapel, I fell in love with the people, the music and the message Bro. Joe brought that day. I felt like I had come home and began to attend. Bro. Doug was being considered as the new pastor and brought the message on a number of occasions. Bruce agreed to come one Sunday and he, too, was very impressed. We now attend on a regular basis.

Recently, a 50th wedding anniversary celebration was held at the church. The couple was married at Ingle Chapel. The minister who originally performed the ceremony officiated as they renewed their vows. The soloist from their wedding day sang again. How cool is that??

Movie night is the last Friday night of each month: one movie for adults and one for kids.

We’re very excited that Bro. Doug and his wife, Amanda, and their children, Arran and Anna are here. They’re getting settled into country life and have rescued a dog – can goats and chickens be far behind? Bro. Doug is young and energetic and I believe the church will grow in membership and service under his leadership.

If you’re looking for a place to grow your faith and deepen your peace, I highly recommend Ingle Chapel. The congregation is friendly but they won’t pressure you. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome at this beautiful little church.

This really is an incredible church with such heart.I can see this being an amazing place for those that have gone through a ton of pain. But also a great place for those that are exited about living lie to the fullest. I love it
