Provided by YP.comStopped in to send a small package priority mail yesterday and have used this post office often. Since I have worked counters for decades when I was a younger man, I always make an extra effort to be personable to those who are working counters. I could not locate the regular labels for the priority mail and tried to ask several times, but was interrupted by the clerk each time I attempted to ask. The postal employee made no effort to listen to the question but kept asking her own making no effort to ascertain what I was asking. When I asked why I simply could not have my question answered the post office manager stepped into the room and denied service by claiming she was not in the mood today to deal with this. I was stunned. As I left, she sarcastically wished me a "happy new year" as though i was the one to have offended her. I have always made an extra effort to defend postal employees against the slurs of people who debase them as governmental employees who do not feel the need to provide good service and although much of the experience i have received from the post-office as a whole has been outstanding, i will no longer lead with a defense, but will prefer to recount the horrible and hateful treatment I received from this post-office on Adams street in Lower Mills, Milton.
