So, I went here the other day for a pedicure and I swear I will never again set foot in this establishment. The pedicure was alright - nothing spectacular - but for $20 I was ok with that.



Then, I gave them my credit card to pay. When she put the slip on the counter for me to sign, she conveniently covered the total section with my card. Thankfully, I thought to look. She had run my card for $25.50. So...I wrote a big, fat 0 on the tip line (which she also conveniently covered) and totaled it out.



As I'm walking out the owner - a very pushy, pushy man with an iPad - started yelling "you need tip in cash! Ma'am you need tip in cash!" I turned around and said, "no, no I do not and showed him the receipt where they charged me for the tip already!



I should have demanded they cancel that run on my credit card because $5 was FAR too much of a tip for them but I just wanted out of there. This sleazy transaction taught me never to go back - and I hope people will see this and never set foot there! It's just a rude and dishonest way of running a business. Who knows how many people unknowingly tip above what they run your card for. It's ridiculous.
