Upon making it to my appt. I had to wait 30 minutes before I was seen. When I was taken back to a room I was assisted by a person who had know clue as to what she was doing. The lady admitted to me she was a medical assistant who had just started, and she had know schooling, and there was know one there to assist her. She said everyone had left for the day. She did not know what questions to ask, how to seat me properly, or anything. While waiting another 30 min. to see the doctor, other staff members were walking in and out of the room to grab equipment to use on other patients. The staff members never knocked they just walked in and out of the room I was seated in, with my feet up. Finally the doctor came in looked at my feet for a couple of minutes and declared, just by looking at my feet, he knew exactly what I had, and how to fix it. First, he told me to get x-rays. So, I got xrays by the untrained staff member who did not know how to do the xrays. She didn't know which way I should stand or how to operate the machine. The x-rays came out blurry. The doctor, Dr Robert D Matteucci, proceeded to look, for 5 minutes, at the blurry x-rays only to tell me my diagnosis, and that I needed major surgery. He told me surgery was the only way to resolve my problem and I shouldn't waste my time with other options, although he didn't explain the other options. He told me he had his own facility where he did surguries, and that it was cheaper that way. He also told me I did not need to redo the x-rays he could see everything he needed to see through the blurry x-rays. I then asked for written information on the procedures only to be told, "Our office doesn't have written information, but come back in two weeks for another appointment." I left the office as fast as I could.
