My 40 lb puppy has been boarding at HoneyLane since she was 6 montths old. She is now 2 1/2. Her visits have ranged from a playtime 1 day experience to 3 weeks at a time at least 4-5 times a year. She is as excited to be dropped off as she is when I pick her up. I have found the staff to be professional, enthusiastic and flexible. She is well taken care of, has outlets for her energy and loves her playmates, human and canine. I have never hesitated to recommend them to others.

NEVERRRRR WILL I EVERRR USE THIS KENNEL AGAIN!!! I BOARDED MY SENIOR DOG RIGHT AFTER CHRISTMAS FOR 5 DAYS & WHEN I PICKED HIM UP HE WAS COMPLETELY TRAUMATIZED. I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW HE WHIMPERED LIKE CRAZY IT FREAKED ME OUT!!! ONLY TO GET HONE & DISCOVER HE HAD FLEA EGGS THAT DIDNT HATCH ACCORDING TO MY VET. I WAS SOOOOO UPSET I COULDNT GO MEET WITH THESE WEIRD DRUNKEN PPL BECAUSE OF WHAT I MIGHTVE DONE. I DID CALL AND DISCUSS WITH 1 OF THE OLD LADIES BEHIND THE DESK & SHE GAVE ME A NASTY ATTITUDE ON HOW SHE DONT KNOW HOW HE GOT THEM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FLEA INFECTED KENNEL TO ANYONE. THESE REVIEWS MUST HAVE BEEN MADE BY THEIR OWN PPL DONT BE FOOLED!!!!

they are horrible with my dog. I called and make a complaint and bout month later I called to get my dog in to get a bath and they said they took our card out of the system cause we made a complaint. I been going there for a very long time.

We purchased our golden Baili from Heidi in 1999. She is 13+ years old and while she has slowed down a bit she is still going strong. She is the most well behaved, easily trainable and sweet dog we have ever had. We take both our dogs to Honey Lane for grooming the past 12 years and they do a wonderful job! They treat them like family and are always happy to see the girls! They check out their health records to make sure everything is up to date for the health and well being of our pets and the other pets there when we board them.. It has been a pleasure to go there and will continue to entrust the care of our girls to them! Thanks for the years of professional and friendly service!

I have been using the boarding facilities at Honey Lane for at least 15 years, first with Rusty, and now with Lucy. The dogs are well taken care of, the facilities are clean, and the staff is so good with my pets that I never have to worry about their care. Lucy enjoys the playtime, and she always gets loving treatment.

We bought our beautiful golden retriever from Xanthos Goldens 5 years ago and she has been the most beautiful and lovely dog! Our family of 6 just adore her and we get compliments all the time on her beauty and temperament. We always board her at Honey Lane with Heidi and Steve. She absolutely loves going there and is always obviously well-cared for!! They truly love her. We only have Steve groom her. She comes out looking like a show dog and loves him too! Leah is phenomonal to work with and a such a caring woman. We would never go anywhere else!! as long as they own and run the business!!

Honey Lane/Xanthos Goldens is an EXCEPTIONAL place for boarding, day-care & grooming! We purchased our beautiful golden as a puppy in October 2009 from Xanthos Goldens. We have had dogs all of our lives & Finnley is by far the smartest, most well-behaved & easily trainable dog we have ever had. We credit Heidi & Steve for their responsible breeding practices. They place high standards on quality breeding, with the dog's temperament factor being given a very high priority. Finn's disposition is excellent; she is gentle & affectionate. She loves everyone she meets & interacts well with other dogs. We attribute her socializing guidance to Leigh; she has really brought her out of her shell. Finn attends their doggy-day-care once a week. She was a shy girl when she first started going, but now is absolutely "joyful" when she knows she is going to visit; she never even looks back when dropped off. When picked-up, she is happy & reluctant to leave.



We would not consider going anywhere else for boarding, grooming, day care or purchasing a superior golden. We never worry at all when Finnley is in their care. Heidi, Steve & Leigh treat her like one of the family. Their combined years of experience are instrumental to the dog we have today. We have utilized Honey Lane for the past 20 years. We boarded our previous dogs many times in the past & have always been extremely satisfied. Our Finnley has ALWAYS been treated in a responsible manner, with care, love & dignity. They do a thorough check of your pets records, as safety for your pet is a top priority. She has always been returned to us clean, happy & in good health. We attribute all to the extraordinary care provided in our absence. The facility is clean, well-maintained, adequately staffed, reasonably priced, provides spacious kennels, outdoor exercise & the best customer service that anyone could ever ask for! We are always greeted warmly both at drop off & pick-up. Consider yourself lucky if your dog gets a stay here!

Thanks Honey Lane or at our house Ryder knows you as “Honey Camp!” Our beautiful Ryder-Boy is a rescue and with some rescues there are special needs, he is no exception. There is a loving and smart dog behind the scarred, not trusting and abused puppy from the past. Thanks for not only giving him a chance but helping him to excel when he is in your care; you love him like we love him and that takes a very special organization and philosophy. Honey Lane should be commended for putting the unique needs of our animals and our families first. Peace of mind especially with a special needs dog means everything to a family, thanks Honey Lane for being an extension of our family.

Honey Lane is a wonderful place to take my Cockapoo, Ginger, for grooming and boarding. We started going here after Bark Avenue closed. The wonderful people at Honey Lane take great care of her and just love her to death. The personal attention given to Ginger is evident. I would not consider going anywhere else. Thank you!

Honeylane is Dog Friendly & a Great Place

I have two dogs and both attend the daycare once a week. They always come home happy, clean and enjoyed the day of play. My dogs are groomed at Honeylane and I always get compliments on my well groomed dogs, from the dog park to the many people we visit in health care facilities as one is a Therapy Dog. They stay at the in home pet care when we go on vacation and are well cared for, just like home. I have peace of mind and can enjoy my vacation. My dogs are always happy and well cared for at Honeylane. Honeylane staff shows their committment to responsible pet care and their interaction with the dogs is always with positive reinforcement. I recommend Honeylane to everyone for all the pet care needs that are offered. We have been a customer of Honeylane for 19 years and the service is excellent. I highly recommend Honeylane to everyone.

I have taken my dog to Honey Lane for several years, and they always treat her with great care. The staff is wonderful and I trust that they will make sure she is happy and comfortable. They always accomodate me, even on short notice. Your pet will be in good hands at Honey Lane!

We had taken Sheena to Leah for grooming for the first time. Sheen is 11 years old and very much a family only dog, that is scared of anything different. Leah was excellent with her, very kind and patient with her. I would highly recommend Honey Lane Kennels to anyone looking to have their dog groomed. Keep up the great job!

My dog boarded at Honey Lane for the first time from 12/19 to 12/29. I spoke to Heidi before I brought Spike and felt very comfortable bringing him there. I never worried about him while we were gone. I also had him groomed while he was there. When I picked him up, he was beautiful! He was happy and even had a festive scarf tied around his neck. I have already recommended their services to friends and family. Spike will definitely be back for grooming.

I take Barney, my Basset there for grooming and boarding when I head out on vacations. Always satisfied with the staff and especially his monthly grooming. Barney typically stresses out getting near water, but the staff has showed me how they bathe and groom him to keep him relaxed. It works! 'Glad there are kennels like this that are that concerned about dogs' well being. He loves socializing with the oterh dogs there! I wouldn't think of taking Barney anywhere else.



BTW, their boarding rates are pretty reasonable, too!

When I travel for business (about once a month), I leave my two Golden Retrievers and Beagle-Dachshund mix with Steve, Heidi and Lee. After having some bad experiences at other facilities, I was recommended to this kennel by a friend who's been taking his dogs for there for grooming and boarding for years. I've been VERY pleased with the care my Boys receive.



One of my Goldens, Harley, is prone to occasional seizures and the staff at Honey Lane keeps a very close watch over him to administer his medication as soon as he needs it. He also has some stringent dietary requirements and again, the staff has been excellent in making sure that his feedings stay on schedule.



Honey Lane's facility is kept immaculate, too. Good climate control during months of extreme temperatures.



The groomers there prepare Goldens for dog show appearances and it shows. My dogs come back looking like they're ready to enter the ring for Westminster!



I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for a second. Staff is couteous, attentive and caring!

The staff at Honey Lane helped my dog who hadn't boarded before to feel safe and loved in my absense. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone in need of a boarding facility. The staff there really understood how Marlin was afraid at first and helped him enjoy his stay and actually not want to leave when we returned. I will definately use them in the future.

I had gone to the kennel and i entrusted them with my dog. I had to wait 10 hour for him to finish getting his har cut and when i got him it looked like his hair cut was done in a rush before i had gotten their. They had cut my dogs ear so know it looks disformed all in all it looked like my five year old couson had done it.
