My Office is a bar/restaurant that has been in my family since 1975. My step-mother, June Peterson, took over the location back in 1975. She was one a pioneer, being one of the first female bar owners in Milwaukee. Bringing experience with her from the old Jolly's Supper Club and Layton Place, she served breakfast and lunch to a bustling downtown Milwaukee crowd. When I started working here I was amazed at how many people would come and go through in a days time. Also, quite frankly, how many were able to spend so much of their day in a bar and still maintain a job. Times have definitely changed, at least the day crowd. We still serve a really good breakfast and lunch along with daily lunch specials. Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm. Our Happy hour runs from 2:30 pm until 7:00 pm, just ask my bartenders for the specials. We stay open until regular bar hours and are here Saturdays at 6:00 pm until close and even Sundays 7:00 pm until close.
