Neighborhood House of Milwaukee provides social, educational and recreational programs for children and families. Its learning center offers various classes that focus on speaking, listening and reading skills. The organization s youth and family services department provides parenting, teen and summer day programs. Its early childhood services are approved by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The organization s teen program offers a variety of activities, such as canoeing, fishing, rock climbing, ice skating and snowshoeing. Located in Milwaukee, Neighborhood House of Milwaukee also operates a more than 30,000-square-foot outdoor habitat center that includes butterfly gardens, art sculptures and pizza gardens.
