Renew Counseling is a terrible place that does not take drug addiction / abuse seriously. I reported to them that one of their patients was abusing their prescription on a monthly basis to the point that they have O.D.'d several times and the police had to be called on several occasions as well as the patient being admitted to the ER numerous times due to reactions from ABUSING the prescribed medications. I also reported how the patient was coached by other drug addicts how to make it look as if they were suffering from PTSD in order to get the medication they want prescribed to them. They were informed how their patient was trading their medication for illegal street drugs and that the patient is passing their drug test by submitting something other then urine and it is going undetected by their staff. I understand they say a patient needs to be weaned off of certain drugs, but the patient is taking their entire months supply of medication within the first week or two of receiving it. Then when the patient is out of their prescribed med, they turn to illegal street drugs to fill in the remainder of the time until their next refill. After this was reported to Renew Counseling, they still prescribed the patient another months supply and simply suggested that the patient seek drug counseling elsewhere, but did not make it mandatory to do so. The name of their clinic is Renew "COUNSELING". I would have assumed that listing "COUNSELING" in the name of their clinic, that they would provide their own counseling services. I also reported this patient to the pharmacies and they too told me they had reported their suspicions to the patient's doctor at Renew Counseling, but their concern for the patient also went ignored. I am afraid that the next time I see my friend will be at their funeral. How can I get my friend the help they need when their doctor won't take this matter seriously? Who else can I report this issue to to possibly save my friend's life? Please help.

The waiting period is not so b...

The waiting period is not so bad but the environment is not professional at all. My son was denied to see a doctor there because they failed to request from the prior doctor his medical transripts. & the phone system is wacky!
