So I haven't stepped foot in the storeange but a friend of mine in West Allis who doesn't know much about guns was talked into buying a .38 special Taurus here for 600 dollars and he gets laughed at Everytime he tells ppl or he wouldn't of known that his gun is worth 300 at best. He knows he got ripped off now. Dunham's has far better guns and prices and let's u see the inventory online.

No-nonsense, smart, respectable staff who spends a lot of time with customer. We love this place. Excellent service and selection. They are no joke.

This is the best Gun Store in Milwaukee. They have a VERY large selection and sometimes prices are negotiable. Plus they have a range. Don't believe the bad comments. Sometimes if the staff thinks someone is not capable or mentally stable enough to own a firearm, they will be turned away. That is why they have a low record of people straw buying. Some of the people posting bad stuff may have mental issues and got turned away on purpose.

I frequent the shop often. The reason we go back is because the service has always been fantastic! They have been helpful and professional. Will continue to visit .

Consistent basis they will not order or receive cheaper items for you. Please don't spend hundreds extra because they say so. Business shouldn't be conducted by price gouging everyone then expecting them to be happy with it. Support local ffl dealers they will have greater appreciation for your business.

WORST GUN SHOP EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!



Everything about this shop is absolutely horrible.



The customer service is insanely bad. The staff are arrogant and rude. They treat their customers with such disrespect, I honestly can't believe they're still in business.



Their selection of guns is horrible. There's nothing here that you couldn't find cheaper online (much..much cheaper).



Their prices are insultingly high. Their ammo prices are literally twice as expensive as every other shop I've ever been too.



This shop preys on people and exploits them. They face that they can do it so openly it makes me physically sick.

I had a very good experience here. the guy that helped me was not pushy, condescending, any of that. on the contrary, he was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting me what I wanted.I would gladly recommend them, I suggest you do as I did and make up your own opinion....I was very happy to see

The problem with this place is not racism as someone else implied. Their problem is that they're holster sniffers. Go in there and display a badge, your service will improve.



Last time I was in there, I was interested in a rifle that cost almost $3000. I was willing to pay it but I couldn't get any service. There was one customer that was filling out paperwork and at least 2 other employees in the back talking. There also was one shorter guy who was darting around the display cases trying to avoid contact with me. He reminded me of a mouse.

I agree with other reviewers saying the staff is rude - they are obnoxiously so, bordering on hostile. I'm amazed a place with such terrible customer service can stay in business. Lack of competition I guess.

From day one of stepping into this store/range, I have always been treated as if I knew nothing about firearms. ALL employees are rude and seem to not care for your business. They are not helpful what so ever when you are trying to buy something that could save your life. The range is small and very dirty. The ammo is WAY too expensive. In fact, EVERYTHING in that store was overpriced. And since this gun buying frenzie started after the tragedy in newtown, they jacked the prices up on EVERYTHING that exists in that store. $100 dollar pmags, $50 GI mags. I saw a bushmaster in there selling for $3500? My advice to a person looking to buy a gun for the first time is to NEVER step foot into this store. You will hate it.

I have been to many different ranges around southern Wisconsin and this one was by far the worst. This is the only range I have been to that makes your group fire on one lane (in this case 3 ppl) when there are multiple lanes open, and then charged each person $20 for an hour. On top if that their ammo price are horrible. I will for sure never visit this place again

Called them once about 20 years ago, wanted to sell my S&W 357, it was like new.

Told on the phone they would pay $200.00. A fair price then. Although it was worth about $275.00.

Got there and the guy says, $180.00, although the gun was exactly what I said it was,

little use and perfect shape..

So I haven't been there since !.

I have been into the shooter several times with my fiancé. Each time they were plain rude and seemed to be very judgmental based on appearance. Each time we weren't greeted or asked if we needed any help and were basically ignored on each of the 3 occasions in which we visited. We thought it might a one time thing maybe they were busy but on each occasion we were treated as if we didn't belong. I wondered if it was because we aren't "white" or because my fiancé and myself have tattoos but I felt unwanted and out of place. On one occasion my fiance asked for an application for the gun background and was asked by an employee "are you a felon" my fiancé responded and said "no I'm clean

not one felony or misdemeanor, good luck even finding a ticket" he responds " are you sure? You don't strike me as a clean person" I thought that was uncalled for. Why? Because my fiancé is a great guy but because he has tattoos and wears hats he is automatically stereotyped. I will never go into such a place again. It's ridiculous. A whole lot of clowns working there! No stars! System won't accept without one!!!

I went in there today to shoot and it's a nice shop with a nice range. The employees are very helpful and friendly.

My friend and I went here prior to purchasing we wanted to rent a gun and use the range.. I was surprised when they handed me the gun and ammo and didn’t even ask if I had any prior gun experience or knowledge. Nope, no basic safety video or overview of handgun operation.. Just pointed me in the direction of the range! When you get to the basement only a single door separates range from prep area. no biggie just time your entry between shoots and wear ear plugs!! Once in range you notice its small but adequate, if you look at the back wall or the wall behind the shooter its coated in lead!! You may have to dodge lead after you shoot or bring body armor! I was hit in chest It didn’t bleed so no biggie! The gentleman to the stall next to me who rented a gun was obviously a graduate of the shooter shop safety training, when he had an issue with the gun he rented not shooting he brought it to me? About waist high, on its side, barrel first and asked if it was loaded? Wow fella! I dropped the clip and pulled slide back to see the brass go flying!!!... I packed up my stuff and left as soon as possible to buy a lottery ticket.

THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!!! I ordered a part and paid for it. ($90+) After many weeks of asking, they said they would call me. After a LONG wait, I went in and asked, BUT they said I had already picked it up. THEY WILL SCREW YOU!!! Complaint also filed with BBB! Don't want to give any star, but system won't accept review without one!! ATF should check-out this BS shop! Screwed me on another order, But too much typing for me.
