Provided by YP.comI've visited the Wicked Hop on several occasions mostly for drinks. I love the unique atmosphere. In the past the service as been decent, but on this past visit earlier last week the service was very poor. The meal was dragged out by the lack of attention of our server. Once we did order our beverages, they took probably took almost 10 minutes to come. We were seated two feet from the bar watching the bartender visit with customers and our server no where to be seen. They were not busy which was also frustrating.
When I finally got my bloody mary it was good like usual. I have had brunch previously, but my friend and I ventured in for dinner. The crab cakes were fair. A little bland, but the extra sauce helped. My friend ordered a side salad, which was much larger than your typical side salad, but good nonetheless. We both had burgers that were large in size and the flavor just okay. I opted for soup instead of fries. The soup left something to be desired.
On future visits I will most likely stick to the brunch and the blood marys, hopefully that the poor service was a one time thing. One additional note is that I used a restaurant.com gift certificate, but the tip is included. Could this have impacted our level of service? I hope not.
