Walked in, had the feeling we had done this once before and was unsatisfied, should have walked out but didn't. Only one table occupied yet waitress just sat in the back until we almost sat ourselves. Waited for service until second waitress came with menus. Tried to place our order, but was told there was no sausage, "it was on the truck". Asked for decaf, "it was on the truck". While trying to place our order other diners had come, waited and left after no service. Waitress seemed confused and put-out by this, (Still only two tables occupied for two waitresses, Too much to handle? Were waitresses "on the truck" also along with the sausage and the decaf?) She misquoted our order back to us and we had to correct her. Our Eggs were cold, coffee was stale (had to substitute tea), toast was whole wheat instead of white as requested. Yet after all this, bill came to $20.00 because it was coffee, etc was additional. We saw Senior's meal listings on the back of menu which we chronologically fit, but talk about "nickle and dime" you to death, everything was an add-on, so the special would have cost even more. Lest ye think we are just badmouthing them unfairly, we are in the food service business, and beliieve us, Friendly's in Mineola was neither "food" nor "service".
