Provided by YP.comThe Pointer Cafe in Mineral Point was a quaint little hometown restaurant with antique decor and a friendly atmosphere. The waitstaff was cheery and friendly and the food was speedy and excellent. The portions were very generous and the prices were modest. They offer a variety of foods on their large menu. Breakfast is their specialty which is served all day. However, their various sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups, and dinners are extremely popular as well. They offer home-cooked daily specials for $5.95, and a soup-of-the-day for $2.09. Furthermore, they have homemade pies and desserts that are sure to make anyone's mouth water. I had a fresh sweet almond chicken wrap, which was delicious. My husband had a huge serving of roast beef, with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and a roll, and ate it all. We split a piece of pecan pie with ice cream and were stuffed. It cost us under $20.00!
I recommend this restaurant to people of any age looking for anything from a quick bite to a family meal.
