After a relative's funeral today, the employees of this funeral home told me that it was the pallbearer's job to remove the flowers from the church and take them to the car for transport to the cemetery. After consulting the deceased person's son, I was told that the family paid $125 specifically for this service. I approached the funeral home employees about this and was told that this was "a tradition", however, when I asked if it was a tradition for this funeral home to charge for services they won't provide and asked if the Funeral Service Commission would be interested in this, the tone changed. They then moved the flowers as they were paid to do.



The deceased person's son also stated that the funeral home sent only one employee to pick up the body. The son was asked to help move the body onto the gurney.



Our family has used this place since the 1960s but will not do so any more. Chronic lack of compassion, lack of service and insolence has changed our direction where final services will be handled.

This facility handled my brother's funeral in a very insensitive manner. Our family was never consulted about any matters concerning his funeral and was ignored at his memorial and graveside service. His parents weren't even given a guest book to remember him by, instead it was given to a "friend" who had no right to be there.
