In operation for more than 36 years, SmokeStack Restaurant is a casual dining restaurant. The restaurant offers a breakfast menu that features mushroom, vegetarian, and ham and cheddar omelets, bacon, sausage and jalapenos. It provides egg dishes that are served with English muffins and buttermilk biscuits. The restaurant also offers a variety of lunch and dinner items, including chopped sirloins, filet mignon, chicken tenders, fried catfish and grilled liver. SmokeStack Restaurant s menu includes a range of chicken sandwiches, as well as desserts, such as apple, pecan, coconut and chocolate pies and ice cream sundaes. The restaurant s wine list features riesling, zinfandel, merlot, chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon. SmokeStack Restaurant additionally provides services for birthday and anniversary parties, family reunions, business meetings and charity functions, as well as can accommodate up to 130 guests.

We really enjoyed our stop at this restaurant. A mercantile store renovated into a family-owned dining experience, filled with antiques, memorabilia, and photographs from what remains of the Pacific Oil town of Thurber. The food was delicious and hostess was ready to share a bit of the former glory of the town. It is surrounded with historic buildings and a gift shop, as well! A welcome find after a hard day of traveling on a hot Texas summer day! We’ll be back!#good food#reasonable prices#good ambiance#friendly staff#must try
