The transmission in my 1994 Ford F 150 was slipping. The manager told me it needed rebuilt.$4ooo.00 later it was done and still running the same!! I took it back and left it there for a week. The manager(M.B) told me they drove it several times but,it wouldn't malfunction. So they said bring it back when it acts up.Yea right!Glad I let them sucker me into an ecstended warranty.I took it back again a year later.M.B. drove it a mile or so and nothing happened. He tried to tell me some b.s. about the computer reads the barometric pressure and that's why it was shifting weird occasionally. This guy must think I'm stupid.I talked to my trustworthy mechanic about this and he told me M.B. was full of B.S.I'm not done with them yet.I will post what finally happens.

Provided by YP.comI have a 1978 Ford pickup that unfortunately is my daily driver. I had noticed some slipping and it was leaking fluid a lot despite me using the stop leak stuff. I checked with a few other transmission places and all of them were trying to yank me for a $1500-$2000 rebuild (I paid $500 for the truck). But Pam at Aamco of West Sac was understanding of my situation. They replaced the seals and filter and gaskets and it fixed the problem at less than 1/10 the price the other guys wanted!
I highly recommend you talk to Pam & Scott at Aamco in West Sac...They are HONEST!! THey have earned my business for life!

Provided by YP.comI just got my car back from Aamco. I am totally impressed with the service I received. They worked with my warrantee company to make sure everything was to their approval and acceptance. They made sure that my vehicle's transmission was repaired and safe. Thank you!

Provided by YP.comIf you want to get a transmission re-built that will only last 39,816 thousand miles, I suggest you call this company. This is a fact. I got my transmission rebuilt by this AAMCO in fridley in september of 2006. They used old parts and charge me for new parts. Please do no use this AAMCO in fridley, you will be sorry. I know this are a franchise so don't take this opinion to the other locations. For there defense, I did not buy the waranty which they state they would have taken care of it. Keep in mind the warenty was 36,000 miles for an extra $500.00 dollars which I did not have at the time. Mark and Brian the (owner) are extremely unprofessional people. I want to tell my experience to every one thinking about doing business with this company. Please call me any time with any questions. Jeff 612-987-0083
P.S. Look at the Better Business Bureau on these guys!! I made the mistake of not looking at there report before doing business.
