Bethlehem Lutheran Church, established in 1894 and based in Fort Smith, Ark., is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The church offers a wide range of ministries, programs and activities for men, women, seniors, youth and children. BLC s ministries and activities include worship ministry, liturgical arts team, ushers, altar guild member, baptism towel stichers, children s ministries, decorating and cleaning and junior and senior high ministries. Its health ministry offers blood pressure screening, health education, home, hospital and nursing home visits, personal health counseling and recruiting, training and coordinating volunteers to assist in care-related outreach services. Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry is the outreach program of BLC that sends mission trips to India, Tanzania, Central African Republic, Argentina, Madagascar, Bangladesh, Slovakia and Estonia.
