I have been taking my animals to Blue Cross for 10 years. I have taken a cat and 3 dogs there over the years. These women (it is all women) are some of the most compassionate and attentive doctors I have encountered. They have diagnosed major ailments and minor injuries with the same level of concern every time. My dogs actually like going to the vet because they know they are going to get lots of cookies and love from the people there. If there is something they can't do, they will refer you to someone who can (My lab needed hip surgery and they urged me to take her to the U of M, which was the best choice). As long as I am in the Cities, I will use Blue Cross.

I decided that if I ever got another cat, Blue Cross would be our clinic. We now have a 13 month old cat and a 3 month old kitten and the staff continues to be warm, caring and competent! They'll get my vote every time!!

My first experience was with our 17 1/2 year old cat. She had a tumor that had caused an infection and didn't have the strength to go through an operation that may not have worked. The whole staff was just wonderful with CeBe and our family. This was very different from the year before when we had to have our 19 year old cat put down at another clinic. That clinic was very cold and impersonal. I'll take the warm fuzziness any day - it helps get you through the rough times.

I have taken my dog and now one of my cats to this animal hospital and find all the vets to be very compassionate and caring. They listen to the pet owners concern and take all the time necessary. And they really work hard to keep the costs down and that is much appreciated.

I LOVE this vet. I have two five-year-old toy poodles. We've been heading to Blue Cross Animal Hospital since their birth. The staff is great, the vets are knowledgeable, they listen and care about our animals. We had a toy poodle previously for fourteen years. We took her to Minneahaha Animal Hospital on Chicago Ave. It was fine, but Minnehaha was much more expensive and I find at Blue Cross I don't have to wait as long, they are more relaxed and it's a heck of a lot cheaper!

My parents have been going to Blue Cross Animal Hospital since I was a pup and now my adult children go there as well with their pets. The staffs over the years have always been very qualified and compassionate! One of our pets had a rare disease and the staff went above and beyond to connect nationally for the best treatment. When our dog was at the end of life the staff's understanding and compassion for our loss was such a comfort during such a difficult time. Over the years I have lived in different suburbs of the Twin Cities and never hesitate to drive to Blue Cross Animal Hospital for my pets care.

These guys have been great with my dogs needs, every thing from yearly check ups to major items. My male dog when first rescue had ring worm and tape worm and had all kids of intestinal issues, the docs there gave advice to help him get on the right track, My female dog had been attack by a another dog and she had comforted my wife and gave my dog life saving advice to get her up the road to a surgery team

My dog Zambezi died on April 20th 2012 and was in the care of Doc Kathleen, She worked my dog for a long time, giving over the counter meds instead high price prescriptions. She worked every angle and to the end let us have the hard news that we saw with my dog. I could not be more grateful for her approach. I called 2 days before and she wished my dog well into the next life. I still have one more dog that sees her. Thank you Blue cross Animal hospital for the care you have given my dogs, Thank You

"Although we have since moved farther out from the area, we have decided that Blue Cross Animal Hospital can't be replaced. They will continue to be our vet as they have been for over 3 years.

They are especially excellent, although all have been very good. She is knowledgeable, caring, intuitive, and the pets trust her as much as I do."

These vets are the best! My cat had breathing issues that were not easily diagnosed because his lungs were clear. Scariest thing to watch your pet struggle to breathe. He was in and out of the vet for three days. She was so very caring to both me and my cat James. I couldn't have asked for better care - and the cost was not astronomical.

I really like the vets here. They immediately diagnosed my dog's foot yeast infection, which I'm not kidding you I've seen about 10 vets and only 1 other diagnosed it correctly. The others all were sure it was allergies. Come here you won’t regret it

I have used Blue Cross for our pet's healthcare for about 18 years. They have care for our puppies, and have administered end of life care for our old and sick pet's. All of the doctors and staff have been professional, informative, and compassionate. I do not give five stars lightly, but because of the importance of animals in our life I would not go to a veterinarian that did rate five stars in my personal estimation.

I feel compelled to write about this clinic. We have gone there for nearly 25 years, after it being recommended by friends who had gone there nearly 5 years. During this time, we have had 3 dogs (2 Old English Sheepdogs and 1 LhasaPoo). Over time, I believe we have seen all the doctors. Each and every visit has been wonderful. The are all helpful and compassionate, including the receptionists and tech reps. My LhasaPoo can get very nippy, especially when his ears are in pain, and they take it all in stride. I would recommend anyone to this clinic at any time.

All of the vets are extremely conscientious, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have been going there for 10 years and will continue as long as they are around.

Dr. Kristi Flynn

I went here because my sister recommnded Dr. Kristi. So far she has been great-she makes sure my dog is healthy, answers all my questions and had never forced un-needed testing on me. The vet I had before (moved location) would require a test for everything no matter how simple. In three years, my dog only had one time were she got extremely sick and we saw another Dr. This Dr. was equally as good and made sure my dog got better. My sister's dog is 90 pounds and mine is under 25 pounds. Her experience has been the same. Both dogs love going there and everyone on staff is great.

Blue Cross Animal Hospital -- Service

We've been going to the clinic since the mid-70s and have never had a complaint. In the early-90s we moved to one of the western suburbs, but still feel it's worth the drive. Staff have always provided very caring and professional service and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Was told that same day service was not possible for my sick dog. We had been going there for 12 years.
