Provided by YPmobiledecent ambience, low choice of food, costly for the place during normal hours, but good for happy hour. close to authentic thai foor with respectable waiters... don't forget to smile at them to get the right attention.

I just love going here, the ambiance is really cool, servers friendly, the food, huge portions and great quality. I would list off all the things I've tried but I've never been let down. There are no landmines on their menu! Some places may have spicier or richer dishes and others may have great atmosphere or service. But Chiang is a pleasant balance of all aspects. Guys - take your girl here, you'll get points!

Provided by YP.comNoisy but energetic atmosphere. Food is well-prepared to order; spiciness tends to the mild side. Portions are tidy but not generous. Red, panang, and green curries a little watery, but the massaman curry is thick and delicious and uncharacteristically large serving. Fun with friends and groups. Service can be slow during busy lunches; usually catering to a rushing young business crowd.

For better and cheaper thai food try Ketsana's. Chiang Mai lacks flavor.

I don't know if they've gone downhill or I've become pickier about Thai, but this place just doesn't seem to be what it used to. The food is rarely as spicy as you order it, and definitely more quantity than quality. I've been especially disappointed with the curries, although the massaman is okay. Overall, it's pretty average Thai. Tum Rup down the street has a similar ambience and better food.
